Blood brothers
Sasha and Yuri grew up in Kurakhove, near Donetsk. These two are inseparable despite their differences of opinion, until the emergence of this violent protest movement, sparked by President Viktor Yanukovych's decision to suspend the association agreement between Ukraine and the European Union. In February 2014, following his dismissal, repeated demonstrations provoked a bloody armed insurrection in eastern Ukraine. The two friends, then brutally separated by this conflict and their ideals, join two opposing camps. One joins the separatist forces of the Donbass war, and the other joins a regiment with ultra-nationalist convictions, the Azov battalion.
Eight long years of fratricidal war will pass before fate decides to place them face to face again, on the front lines.
Will their friendship survive this bloody conflict?
In this novel, the author stages both parties to give them a voice. Her in-depth research, her personal contacts, and her Russian-Ukrainian roots offer the reader a very comprehensive look at the origins and fratricidal atrocities of this conflict. However, beyond the facts, it is the entire depth of Slavic culture that is contained in this work. That of Katyushka Stanislavovna vibrates, expresses itself, resonates, throughout this moving story, in order to bring it to life.
This novel is intended for a mature audience. As the story takes place in a war zone, some scenes may be offending.

Death in all its forms
Ah! Death! Dark, naive, cruel, it cannot leave its mere mortals indifferent. Perfidious, it torments the minds of the living, relentlessly persecuting them. In their wake, it gravitates from the first moments, leaves no respite, hunts the innocent. Patient, it waits in the shadows before swallowing them up with a final breath. Ah! The gravedigger! Carnivorous, it is never satisfied, hates solitude. It snatches its due and offers it a journey of no return. It knows no limits, no boundaries, it intrudes into the entrails to reduce to dust. In its nets, it imprisons wandering souls in its kingdom. What about its extent? No one knows! Since no one has ever returned.
Whether we are emotional or indifferent, submissive or rebellious, no one escapes it. Death relentlessly puts us in all our states!
In this second collection of poetry, the writer, author, composer, performer, Katyushka Stanislavovna, deals with humor and subtlety with an unattractive subject: death. The bet was daring and relatively ambitious in the heart of a society in search of entertainment. However, as in her first collection "Love in the Four Seasons", her very particular Slavic philosophy gives a unique tone to each poem. And the result is there! The quality resides throughout the work, inciting the reader to reflect. Like the legendary roller coaster, emotions invite themselves, flood, relentlessly assail. The challenge was considerable, but it appears to have been brilliantly met, since this collection will not fail to put the reader in all his states.

Love in the four seasons
The careful construction of this collection, down to the syllable, was the fruit of three years of scholarly work. Its development is reminiscent of the poetry of the greatest authors of the 19th century. Whether in rhythm, respect for syllables or rhymes, Katyushka Stanislavovna imposed on herself a discipline from another era. The free and unstructured poetry, so common in those times, found no place under the author's pen.
By turns philosophical, funny, romantic, the poems express Love over time in the form of structured chapters. From their birth to their completion, from spring to winter, the emotions follow one another but are not alike.
From the first verses, one thing is clear. The author's soul is omnipresent, this very special Slavic soul which, like a bow, will know how to make the sensitive chord vibrate in each being, throughout the four seasons.
In this collection, the author, composer, performer, Katyushka Stanislavovna, combines poetry, philosophy and humor. Whether the texts are songs or poems, their verses twirl to the rhythm of the syllables, their rhymes intertwine for the time of a dance. This whole rises in cadence, at the heart of a perfectly orchestrated poetic symphony. Slavic subtlety invites the reader to gentleness, to travel, to sensuality, to passion, but also to reflection.
As the seasons go by, emotions follow one another but are not alike.
